Santa Ana, California FSSI has completed — with zero exceptions — its 2011-2012 SSAE 16 Type 2 audit, in accordance with the AICPA’s SSAE No. 16 (SOC 1). Rigorous internal and external network vulnerability tests, a social media test, and review of the company’s risk assessment analysis were performed in conjunction with the security and quality control process audit.

SSAE 16 superseded SAS 70 on June 15, 2011 as the audit standard for service organization auditors. SSAE 16 was adopted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in an effort to establish a more uniform reporting standard.
